Custom Sewing for Horse and Rider

Our focus when creating custom apparel and accessories is to provide high-quality, individually-crafted items that you may not be able to find elsewhere or to provide a custom-fit if standard sizes do not work for you. We do not hesitate to tell you if we think your request can be satisfied at a more reasonable price by high-volume manufacturers.

The following specialized items are available for those who can meet with us at our shop. Expect to make follow-up vists for approvals, fittings and alterations.

Costumes

Each costume is made to your request. It can be as simple or elaborate as you want. The style, fabric and amount of detail such as authentic period features determine the price of each garment. We can use patterns from local fabric stores, or we can use a pattern and notion source that caters to the theatre and authentic period costumes. Special accessories for your horse are available to compliment your breed, discipline, period, exhibition or parade costumes. These one-of-a-kind costumes are indeed special and are not costumes you will see at the local party shop.

Banners

Every banner is a collaboration with you on design, color and fabric. Using your logo or a new design, we create a full-size pattern for you to inspect before we begin the actual cutting and assembly in fabric.

Banners are constructed using an applique technique. Design features and letters are stitched to create a striking, one-of-a-kind work of art that will last for years. Banners can be wall mounted and can have an optional sleeve at the top binding for a pole, or we can sew magnets inside the binding to hang on your show trailers. (Sorry, magnets won't stick to aluminum trailers.)

Various sizes are available, and banners are priced according to size and detail. A 36" by 45" banner with moderate detail starts at $250. A banner is not only a striking item in its own right, it also reflects the pride of ownership you have for your business and is a valuable advertising investment in the future of your farm.
